Simple things such as watching T.V. can turn ugly with brother and sister. The remote is like having control over the T.V. Kayla Bell and Aaron Bell turn fighting over the remote violent as Kayla bites her older brother











Sibling rivalry may be bad at school but at home students fight more than ever. Junior Aaron Bell and sophomore Kayla Bell have a stare off at the dinner table before eating.









Siblings in Derby are very common. The relationship between them varies, but most have their share of fights and rivals. Including sophomore Kayla Bell and Junior Aaron Bell

Students take tailgating very serious at Derby. Senior Stephen Opskar is out grilling burgers and hot dogs even in the rain before the Derby vs. Hutch home game.










Everyone is different, some in different ways. At derby we have students who are smaller than most. These students stick out in the hallways next to all the other students.











Senior Trayce Cornejo celebrates his team winning at kansas kids fitness day. This is an opportunity for students to help out and help promote a healthy life style to fifth graders from all different Derby schools.

















Senior Rachel Palletta paints kids faces for NAHS at different high school events. Children enjoy the faces while earning funding for our art programs.

During the fall, Derby High School holds tryouts for soccer. Soccer is one of the many  school sports that students love to watch and participate in at Derby.

Yard decorations are very popular around christmas time. This family had a multitude of Disney characters doing various winter activities in their front yard.





















Some Derby families show their christmas spirit by decorating the tree with reindeer ornaments, lights, and tinsle.

Junior Kersten Wallace is the only girl wrestler at derby. She loves wrestling and does the best she can even though she is the only girl.











Playing the guitar can be the bases of someone's life. You can express yourself by writting and singing songs or even just playing music. Junior Jake Rucker practices his songs and relaxes while playing.
